We close on our first house in just over 2 weeks. I'm nervous and excited...

Once we get settled, I am going to get a part time job and keep at it until we have a nice emergency fund built up and also so we can pay off our credit cards.

We're both 24 and have high utilization due to carelessness in college. Our scores are really good, we just owe a lot. It makes me mad how ignorant we were a few years ago... and how we've just been throwing money away.

I'm going to mostly post about our progress on paying off our credit cards and miscellaneous financial things. Now I'm off to make a credit card payment!
